Everyone knows that gas combi boilers leak carbon monoxide but not many realise that anything that is burning can give off Carbon Monoxide. Public misconception seems to be that it is a bi-product of burning gas.
Since October 2010 it has been mandatory to instal a CO alarm with every wood burner / multi-fuel stove. There is a correct place to fit it.
We always carry detectors on the van and always offer them at a discounted rate with a sweep for those that do not yet have one. Even if you would like us to visit solely to instal a detector please just call. Every appliance should have one with in 3 metres.
